About Us

FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE FIELD SPANIEL

In March 2017 we visited Discover Dogs at Crufts to explore the Gundogs and literally "discovered" Field Spaniels.

We instantly fell in love with their nature, size, colour (we are liver fans) and came away, eager to find out everything we could about them.

OUR FIRST BOY

In our explorations we discovered Allie MacBain of Fecimus Field Spaniels, our Mentor, and now close friend, who was due to have a litter.

She asked if we were interested in showing and thinking it would give us a better chance, we said yes, and were fortunate enough to be entrusted with our wonderful boy, Archie,  (Fecimus The Kings Troop at Trevoris) in September 2017.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE

After saying we were interested in showing we thought we ought to have a go.

After some ringcraft lessons we entered into our first Championship Show, Manchester, a baptism of fire!  Archie won Best Puppy Dog and qualified for Crufts.

And one year after discovering Field Spaniels at Crufts 2017, Archie won Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts 2018.

ADDICTION

When we fell into the world of Field Spaniels, we fell hook, line and sinker, to owning and showing and, ultimately, breeding them.

That's why we now have two gorgeous boys and two stunning girls, all from our wonderful Allie and her Fecimus kennel.

Now we are embarking on the Trevoris line and hoping to produce happy, healthy puppies that we can be really proud of.

TREVORIS BRACCO ITALIANO

CANEMAMANS BRACCO ITALIANO

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Ian Sladden, who was looking for a co-owner for a female Chestnut Bracco and so our partnership began.

His handsome Louis (right) had just sired a litter and that was the start of a fantastic journey for us.

THE BRACCO JOURNEY BEGINS

Whilst waiting in the Gundog group, when we were lucky enough to make it through to Groups, I always admired the Bracco Italiano and its gorgeous extended gait

I jokingly asked Mike if I could have one for my 60th and as always he said yes.

The was the start of Trevoris Bracco Italiano
